SOME QUICK FACTS:

There are no more 4 verse songs at all.

The only two songs which had no changes whatsoever are #222 (new #24) and #138 (new #26; there was actually a key change in this one)

The new melody of the new song #101 (Making Known the Kingdom Truth) is taken from the 2000 video "Our Whole Association of Brothers" showing that this new song book project has been at least 10 YEARS in the making!

Our song #2 "Obeying God Rather Than Men" has kept the same melody in the new songbook, but with a new theme: #135 "Enduring to the End". Interestingly in the old purple songbook from 1966, this same melody was song #113 "Pouring Out the Seven Last Plagues."

oldest known holocaust survivor. This news report on his tour was
broadcast May 25th on TV station Kcal 9 (Los Angeles) and appeared
later in the L.A. Times.
