Note scriptures and positive thoughts in your 'Survival Notebook'
Discouragement can befall us all. Perhaps you fondly recall the experience of Paula, the 70-year old Canadian sister. She was severely restricted by spina bifida. She said: "Jehovah is always there to help us, regardless of our circumstances." One thing that she said helped her when discouraged was what she called 'My Survival Notebook.' She explained what it was for: "For my own encouragement, I keep a notebook with scriptures and thoughts from our publications that I can consult from time to time." (see w16 December p. 28).
